Punto notevole

The album explores the multiple understandings of the concept of punto notevole. On the one side punto notevole can be translated as "triangle center”, that is the geometrical point indicating in some sense the center of a triangle, like the center of squares and circles. On the other side, it can be translated as “daymarker", namely a reference point used by sailors to orientate navigation during daylight hours.
The piece was first composed in June 2019 for the annual edition of the Iuav fashion show directed by Kinkaleri, and was later reworked integrating fragments from a score composed in July 2019 for the theater piece "La nave degli incanti" by Gommalacca teatro, presented to the public in the occasion of the Matera Capital of Culture 2019 program.
The album was first edited in Venice during the massive high tide of November 2019.
