‘Porto Marghera 100’ is a sound installation commissioned by the municipality of Venice for the exhibition ‘Industriae’, which celebrates the 100° years anniversary of the Porto Marghera industrial district.

The installation is entirely based on field recordings taken in the main industries of the area, filtered and manipulated in order to recreate an immersive atmosphere. The project aims to reflect on the distinctive sounds of the industrial processes, the machineries, and the everyday sonic environment of the area.
