‘Il paese nero’ is a platform collecting feelings and projects dedicated to the italian abandoned inner areas. The project is produced by Luca Ruali with Virginia Sommadossi, in collaboration with Mata Trifilò, for Centrale Fies art work space.

‘Una comunicazione magnetica con la natura’ is an AV performance born to present ‘Il paese nero’, and structured around live contributions from Luca Ruali and Nicola Di Croce. The performance combines field recordings, samplings, editorial graphics, medieval literature, tv series from ‘70, anthropological documentaries, interviews and archives from old road movies, all reflecting on the shrinkage of the inner and rural territories.
