The performance is developed in the framework of the ‘Urban intervention camp’, a festival organized by ‘Biennale Urbana’ to stimulate public debate around abandoned buildings and areas within the musicipality of Venice.

The old barracks ‘Caserma Pepe’ becomes the scene of a sonic action, aiming a semantic reframing of the building. The military sings and hymns covering the interiors of the barraks are declaimed and overlooped as to sonically demolish the previous sense of the place, and finding space for new uses to be experimented.
