Noci is a small city close to Bari, Italy, where ‘Piccolo festival della parola’ takes place every year gathering artists, poets, and authors. 

Within this framework the resdency aimed to explore sounds from the everyday life of the city, and the typicality of its natural surroundings, looking for the inner ‘voice’ of the territory. The performance ‘Dal mediterraneo a Noci’ is the result of this research, which combines the archive of sonic fragments recorded in Noci, with a series of field recordings taken in different mediterranean areas.
