ascoltare l’abbandono

Two sound installations and a performance are presented for the 26° edition of ‘Stazione Topolò’ festival. The project focuses on the abandoned mountain settlements of the Est Alps, close to the slovenian border.

‘Ascoltare l’abbandono’ evokes the displacement experienced by the few inhabitants still living in the area, using sound to narrate the feelings of “amplification” and “dissuation” given by the extremely silent environent. Two old ruins host the immersive installations and the final performance.
