I resonate with atmopshere / Atmosphere resonates with me

The worksop “I resonate with atmosphere” explores the atmosphere of the surroundings of Zurich’s Alter Botanischer Garten through its sonic environment. Participants are invited to engage affects, feelings, and emotions triggered by their personal listening experience within the area and finally share their feedbacks through written notes, recordings, and audio messages.

The lecture-performance “Atmosphere resonates with me” unfolds through a series of field recordings taken in the surroundings of Zurich’s Alter Botanischer Garten, combining them with the feedbacks  from the workshop’s participants, a text-score, and AI generated voices quoting snippets from the current literature on atmosphere.

The workshop and the lecture-performance have been developed in the framework of Sonic Topologies, Festival for sound art, acoustic ecology and sonic architecture, curated by Ludwig Berger for  Christophe Girot Chair of Landscape Architecture, ETH Zurich.
