Richiamo

Richiamo (se fosse nel silenzio che i merli si parlano) develops a conversation on stage that questions the performative practice of two bodies engaged in the act of producing sounds, listening to them, recording them in order to listen to them again. The performance enters into a dialogue with spaces that are different each time and with their acoustic characteristics, experimenting with a choreographic and dramaturgical language in which the body is at the service of sound and silence.

Richiamo summons into the chosen space the body of a performer (Magini), that of a recordist (Di Croce) and his recorder, triggering a "correspondence" between these elements and the environment. The project extends the exchange between Magini's research on physical medium and movement and that of Di Croce's focused on listening and recording. The work thus develops a dialogue in close relation with the context that hosts it, chosen for its symbolic potential, its social and political significance, as well as for its acoustic properties.
