Etrarte, Ephemera Festival 2023video art
Soundtrack composed for the video directed by artist Elena Mazzi, filmed and edited in collaboration with Matteo Stocco, Kinonauts.
The film transports the viewer to a small mountain community where the pace of time appears to be arrested. Set against a backdrop of the Alps, the community of Moggio Udinese has established a harmonious relationship with its natural environment, preserving traditional practices that have been in place for many years. Each year, from late spring, a distinctive phenomenon occurs in a pool excavated into the rock during the First World War.
