The exhibition featured a series of works produced by the two artists that took part in “Energies in the Rural,” a project of transnational cooperation between Italy and Japan carried out in synergy by Interzona - APS and the ACAC - Aomori Contemporary Art Centre in Aomori, between 2021 and 2023. The project focused on the impact of energy production and management in rural areas, with specific reference to the "Apennini" mountain belt and the prefecture of Aomori, Japan.

In particular, the work of Nicola Di Croce presents a new version of the installation emerged from the art residency in Aomori and the Shimokita Peninsula in July 2023. The exhibition also hosted the work of Japanise Hideki Umezawa, focusing on the outcomes of the residency in Stromboli during the Marosi festival, Aeolian Islands, June 2023.

The installation, curated by Leandro Pisano, took place in Villino del Balzo, San Martino Valle Caudina (AV), December 21-22, 2023.
