Sonic mirror uses the French pavilion of the Venice Biennale as a live installation where all the sounds produced by the visitors are recorded, manipulated and diffused in real time. The field recordings and the reaction of the listeners constitutes the basis for the following composition, which developed by layering sound materials from a wide range of acoustic and electronic instruments.

The art residency was part of the project ‘Studio Venezia’, curated by the artist Xavier Veilhan in collaboration with Enrico Bettinello.
